The advantages and disadvantages we of mentioned here should give you a much better idea on which is going to be the best option for you to obtain the exercise you need to get in shape. For me personally, I have an extra room which I have turned into a gym primarily because I prefer to exercise in my home. Of course I also have friends that end up joining gyms simply because they like this option. For just about everyone, one option will likely be unattainable for one reason or another.
